For more information about ADM and its products, visitwww.adm.com. <?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" /><BR><BR><BR><BR>Assistant Laboratory Supervisor - Spokane, WA<BR><BR>This is a non-exempt level position.<BR><BR><BR><BR>Position Summary:<BR><BR>We are seeking a Assistant Laboratory Supervisor with initiative, flexibility, a positive attitude, and a desire to learn the business. The Laboratory Supervisor will be responsible for establishing, implementing and co-directing product integrity efforts to ensure that requirements for raw materials (wheat) and finished goods (flour & specialty products) conform to quality standards and specifications. The Laboratory Supervisor will assist in communicating findings; report discrepancies, and support plant personnel in implementing corrective actions as needed. Works closely with production to ensure quality as well as integrity of products meets or exceeds specifications.<BR><BR><BR><BR>Job Responsibilities:<BR><BR>?Perform lab analysis on new and existing products in house as well as outside products.<BR><BR>?Assist with wheat management- Help manage the wheat pipeline in conjunction with the lab manager and wheat merchandiser to ensure wheat shipped to the mill meets customer needs, optimizes mill performance and is in alignment with regulatory compliance.<BR><BR>?Ensures that customer receives what they perceived they bought from us by (generating<?xml:namespace prefix = st1 ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags" />COA?s, making sure finished products are consistent and reliable).<BR><BR>?Work alongside sales department providing necessary documentation, data and samples of product as required by department.<BR><BR>?Analyzes data generated with the ability to communicate findings to lab manager & plant staff both verbally and using MS. Jointly works with mill team to find solutions. Makes hold and ship/no ship decisions.<BR><BR>?Maintains accuracy of testing equipment in lab and elevator. Conducts instrument troubleshooting and repair when needed.<BR><BR>?Assists lab manager with maintaining technical data used for tracking and trending purposes.<BR><BR>?Provides supervisory duties in lab manager?s absence.<BR><BR>?Provides support to lab management with special projects.<BR><BR><BR><BR>Job Requirements:<BR><BR>?Bachelors Degree in a science discipline or a minimum of 3 years experience in quality assurance, baking science, agribusiness or food science preferred.<BR><BR>?Demonstrated effective </font></td>
