Top performers deserve top pay-If You have the Drive, We have the Vehicle.<BR><BR>Job Summary:<BR>The quick lube service technician will be responsible for inspecting and lubricating cars in a quick, yet thorough manner, and for carrying out his/her responsibilities through coordination with the service manager.<BR><BR><BR>Job Responsibilities:<BR>o Performs multipoint inspection<BR>o Advises service consultant of additional work<BR>o Service grease fittings, universal joints and steering knuckles, using hand or compressed air powered grease gun<BR>o Inspect fluid levels of steering gear, power steering reservoir, transmission, differential, rear axel housings, and shackles<BR>o Check air pressure of tires<BR>o Lubricate moving parts with specified lubricants<BR>o Drain oil from crankcase and refill with required amount of oil<BR>o Add water to radiator and battery<BR>o Replace oil and air filters<BR>o Inspect all vehicles for additional repairs needed<BR>o Demonstrates behaviors consistent with the company''s vision, mission and values in all interactions with customers, co-workers and suppliers<BR>o Adheres to all company policies, procedures and safety standards<BR>o Follow company safety procedures to avoid exposure to fumes, dirt and harsh chemicals<BR><BR>Required Experience<BR>Qualifications:<BR>o Must meet company''s requirements for employment<BR>o Ability to read and comprehend written instructions and information<BR>o Knowledge in all aspects of automotive repair and maintenance<BR>o Must have a valid driver''s license<BR>o Ability to drive manual transmission vehicles<BR>o Prior experience as a technicians helper or apprentice<BR>o Demonstrate effective communication and interpersonal skills<BR><BR><BR><BR>Physical Requirements & Working Conditions:<BR>o Exposure to inclement weather<BR>o Ability to operate an automobile<BR>o Prolonged periods of standing, stooping and bending<BR>o Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently and/or greater then 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects<BR>o Requires walking or standing to a significant degree, or requires sitting most of the time but entails pushing and or pulling of arm or leg controls, or requires working at a production rate pace entailing the constant pushing and /or pulling of materials<BR><BR>Compensation<BR>At AutoNation you''ll find unlimited income potential, paid time off, training, longevity bonuses, 401(k) program - with company match, he                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                       </font></td>
