Top performers deserve top pay-If You have the Drive, We have the Vehicle.<BR><BR>Job Summary:<BR>The Service Technician is responsible for performing vehicle repair and maintenance as assigned in accordance with dealer and factory standards.<BR><BR><BR>Job Responsibilities:<BR>o Perform work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with dealership and factory standards<BR>o Communicate with parts department to obtain needed parts, inform team leader if vehicle is awaiting parts and pursue special order of parts if necessary<BR>o Diagnose cause of any malfunction and perform repair, if authorized by customer<BR>o Save and tag parts if the job is under warranty or if requested by customer<BR>o Examine the vehicle to determine if additional safety or service work is required<BR>o Notify service consultants immediately if additional work is needed, if work outlined is not needed, or if repairs can not be completed within the time promised<BR>o Document work performed on each vehicle on the repair order using the concern, cause and correction format<BR>o Road-test vehicles to check work performed<BR>o Ensure that customer vehicles are returned to them as clean as they were prior to being serviced<BR>o Keep abreast of factory technical bulletins<BR>o Attend factory sponsored training classes<BR>o Keep shop area neat clean and be able to account for all dealership owned tools at all times<BR>o Understand and follow federal, state and locate regulations, such as those governing the disposal of hazardous waste<BR>o Demonstrates behaviors consistent with the company''s vision, mission and values in all interactions with customers, co-workers and suppliers<BR>o Adheres to all company policies, procedures and safety standards<BR>o Follow company safety procedures to avoid exposure to fumes, dirt and harsh chemicals<BR><BR>Required Experience<BR>Qualifications:<BR>o Must meet company''s requirements for employment<BR>o Ability to read and comprehend written instructions and information<BR>o General mechanical skills<BR>o Must have a valid driver''s license<BR>o Ability to drive manual transmission vehicles<BR>o Professional appearance<BR>o Manual dexterity, good judgment and ability to operate power and hand tools and other types of machinery safely<BR>o Three years of work experience as a service technician (preferred)<BR>o Demonstrated customer service skills<BR>o ASE certification (preferred)<BR><BR><BR><BR>Physical Requirements & Work                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                        </font></td>
