Applicant must read ``How to Apply`` section for full Referral Instructions.  Also please dress interview appropriate when requesting a referral.<BR><BR>Valley provider of meal delivery for Seniors is seeking a bookkeeper to support the organization in maintaining its day-to-day operations and strong financial controls.  A successful candidate will be a highly motivated self-starter.  Responsibilities: General Accounting and Bookkeeping, Manage accounts payable processes, including processing invoices from vendors and entering data for disbursements, Process and reconcile monthly statements, Process accounts receivable including governmental billing using BARS , Maintain and update vendor records, Assist with tax preparation and audits, Assist with month-end close, Maintain supplies for bookkeeping/accounting purposes, Assist with grant management and reporting, Work with various revenue streams, monitoring for compliance <BR><BR><BR><BR><b>JOB REQUIREMENTS:</b><BR>- Two or more years of relevant experience maintaining books for a small to medium sized business or non-profit organization<BR>- Demonstrated proficiency with QuickBooks and MS Excel a must<BR>- <BR><b>Must be prepared and able to demonstrate the following qualifications at the time of referral:</b><BR><BR>- Demonstrated experience with complex bookkeeping functions<BR>- Excellent verbal and written communication, including the ability to analyze and report on complex data in an easily digestible format<BR>- Demonstrated ability to work with teams<BR>- Demonstrated ability to manage and make progress on multiple projects simultaneously<BR><BR> <BR><b>PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:</b><BR>- Experience in philanthropy, nonprofit management, business and/or consulting a plus<BR>- Experience with BARS a plus<BR><BR><BR><b>HOURS/DAYS/SCHEDULE:</b><BR><BR>The position is 30-40 hours per week.
