Day shift available. The duties of the Bulker / Bagger include: Packs products as required by customer and company specifications. Maintains safe and sanitary conditions of the productions areas.<BR><BR>Responsibilities include: <BR>1. Takes guidance regarding daily tasks from machine operator to ensure that goals for packaging department are met each day. <BR>2. Packs product per CLF parameter sheets.<BR>3. Keeps work area clean and free of debris<BR>4. Pre-stages materials needed for packing the shift in neat and orderly fashion in areas defined.<BR>5. Identifies waste streams and contacts supervisor for remedy and immediate action.<BR>6. Executes Quality Assurance paperwork as defined.<BR>7. Executes changeovers per the parameter sheets to include proper screens, totes, and liners as needed.<BR>8. Executes changeover sanitation<BR>9. Collects and reviews paperwork before turning in to supervisor.<BR>10. Ensures correct product is dispensed into correct container.<BR>11. Performs shutdown sanitation duties as required.<BR>12. Gains an understanding of how machinery works and can identify issues and assist in troubleshooting but does not make repairs or adjustments. <BR>13. Float as needed as needed to cover palletizer and/or poucher positions. Will do other duties as assigned.  <BR> <BR><b>JOB REQUIREMENTS:</b><BR>- SOLID work history with  1+ years or more for prior positions<BR>- High School Education or GED  <BR>- Able to read, write and interpret documents  <BR>- Reasoning ability in order to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions <BR>- Able to work and perform tasks in a confined space <BR>- Able to wear appropriate hearing protection for the whole shift <BR>- Able to perform lockout / tag out procedures on equipment once trained  <BR>- Able to work safely in and around equipment at all times<BR>- Able to perform the above listed tasks in an environment of 90 degree F or greater up to 80% of the shift or greater than 100 degree F for 30 minute intervals. Environment is up to 35% Relative Humidity. <BR>- Have steel toe shoes / boots<BR>- Company policy prohibits jewelry or fingernail polish <BR>- Able to pass a criminal background check and drug screen <BR> <BR><b>HOURS / DAYS / SCHEDULE:</b><BR>Position is for the day shift, 5 - day, 8 hour shifts 40/HR a week. All applicants MUST be able to work any shift, weekends and overtime. Attendance for scheduled shift is crucial as the work is on a point system.<BR>Day shift: 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m - Night shift:  3:00 p.m. to 11:00 pm -<BR>Graveyard 11:00 pm. to 7:30 a.m.  <BR><BR><b>SALARY / WAGE / BENEFITS:</b> <BR>All positions start at 85% of the wage for the first 90 days while being trained. After 90 days will go to the full rate. Pay starts at $9.40 per hour; will go to $11.05 per hour after 90 days. The company will reimburse up to $50.00 after 90 days for applicant buying steel toe boots / shoes. Safety glasses, ear plugs, hair and beard nets are required and provided.
