<td align="left"><font style="font-size: 100%;">Information Technology<BR>The Information Technology department is an important part of our growing company infrastructure and as a member of this team, you are critical to our success. Our IT group has an immediate need for a solid Business Intelligence Architect located in our Spokane office.<BR><BR>Role Description<BR>• Provide consulting services to stakeholders seeking data analysis and reporting solutions.<BR>• Translate business requirements into data models that drive data warehouse or data mart design and configuration.<BR>• Act as the technical leader on projects. <BR>• Work with cross-functional teams to gather, document, and approve business requirements for data analysis and reporting projects.<BR>• Use BI and database tools to develop reporting and/or ETL solutions to meet business needs. <BR>• Design, develop and implement the reporting and analysis environment, including canned and parameterized reports.<BR>• Design, develop and implement data integration (ETL) processes to transform unstructured and disparate source data into the target data warehouse or data marts.<BR>• Design and develop data models that reflect the various business processes.<BR>• Oversee implementation and maintenance of BI systems that support feature development and testing.<BR>• Be part of team that will Provide 24x7 support to ensure availability of BI environments for internal and external users.<BR><BR>Role Competencies<BR>• BA/BS in Computer Science or related field; or equivalent combination of experience, education.<BR>• Minimum 12 years overall work experience as a technical contributor in an IT setting.<BR>• Minimum 12 years experience implementing enterprise-scale reporting systems using business intelligence tools such as Microsoft BI Stack<BR>• Minimum 12 years Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) experience using Microsoft SSIS, stored procedures, or Informatica<BR>• Minimum eight years use of SQL and RDBMS systems (SQL Server, Oracle, etc.)<BR>• Proven ability to gather and translate end user requirements into technical solutions.<BR>• Expert knowledge of logical and physical data modeling concepts.<BR>• Expert in dimensional data modeling designs and techniques.<BR>• Expert knowledge of the system and data security mechanisms required for external presentation of client-segregated reports and analytics via the Internet<BR>• Advanced knowledge of Data Warehouse/BI project lifecycle, tools, technologies, best practices.<BR>• Strong knowledge of Web scripting and technologies (HTML, CSS, XML, JavaScript, VBScript).<BR>• Strong knowledge of software code configuration systems, such as Team Foundation Server, Subversion and Visual SourceSafe.<BR>• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc.) and defect tracking tools.<BR>• Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.<BR>• The ability to work well in a team environment.<BR><BR>Ecova Information<BR>Our salaries are competitive and commensurate with experience.
