<td align="left"><font style="font-size: 100%;">Title: Cardiac Sonographer - Deaconess Hospital<BR>Location: WA-Spokane<BR><BR><BR>Under general supervision and according to established policies and procedures, performs echocardiograms to produce diagnostic data assessing heart function and capability to be used by the cardiologist to enhance the care and treatment of the patient. In doing so, obtains pertinent patient information and explains the purpose and duration of testing to the patients. Reviews results and arranges reports for physician review. Provides other diagnostic testing. Attends required CEU. Provides the highest quality care in echocardiography.<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" /><BR><BR>* <BR><BR>Education/Experience:<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" /><BR>Registered or successful completion of accredited academic program in Echocardiography according to Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Stenographer (RDCS) or CCI (RCS). Successful completion of registration within 2 years of starting employment. Ability to skillfully operate standard medical/testing equipment used for cardiac diagnostic purposes to optimize data by applying principles of cardiovascular anatomy, physiology and pathophysiology. Software capabilities of, Meditech, Excel, Echo switchboard/Microsoft Access. Requires clear close and distance vision with the ability to identify and distinguish colors.
