               <td align="left"><font style="font-size: 100%;">Title: Certified Tumor Registrar - Deaconess Medical Center<BR>Location: WA-Spokane<BR><BR>Summary:Responsible for capturing accurate, timely cancer-related health information for every patient with a diagnosis of malignancy, or with a diagnosis of certain benign CNS diseases and following those patients at least once a year for life. Cases are coded using the rules listed in the FORDS manual, and the<?xml:namespace prefix = st1 ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags" />AmericanCollegeof Surgeon?s Commission on Cancer data standards and coding instructions. This data is used for oncology research, evaluating the patient?s diagnosis, treatment and outcome, and identifying opportunities for improvement. The data is transmitted regularly to the State Cancer Registry and the National Cancer Database (NCDB) and must meet stringent quality guidelines.
