<td align="left"><font style="font-size: 100%;">Title: Client Systems Engineer<BR>Location: Washington-Spokane<BR>Job Number:_09844<BR>Providence is calling a Client Systems Engineer to Providence Health & Services in Spokane WA.<BR>The Client Systems Engineer analyzes, architects, and engineers the enterprise desktop environment and provides recommendations on technical solutions for the end-user computing environment.<BR><BR>In this position you will:<BR>* Develop and document processes and procedures for implementing and maintaining the enterprise desktop.<BR>* Analyze and resolve complex business and/or technical problems within assigned discipline.<BR>* Create and maintain moderately complex scripts and script components. Make recommendations to other engineers for changes to existing scripting standards.<BR>* Test and integrate new hardware and software solutions as prototype workstations. Identify problems with new and current hardware/software; recommends options to mitigate problems.<BR>* Install and configure Terminal Services and/or Citrix MetaFrame. Monitors and troubleshoot problems associated with application delivery with a thin client model. Publish desktop applications. Configure thin client solutions.<BR>* Create software packages with standard tools for automated installation on desktops.<BR>* Troubleshoot moderately complex problems with Microsoft products in the business environment. Utilizes IE Administration Kit to create packages for distribution.<BR>* Monitor status of SMS and SUS servers and works with senior team members to identify and resolve problems.<BR><BR>Qualifications:<BR><BR>Required qualifications for this position include:<BR>* Minimum of a bachelor''s degree in IT or related industry, or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience<BR>* Minimum of five years (5) IT experience<BR>* Minimum of two (2) years scripting or systems engineering experience<BR>* Travel - Must be able to travel by a variety of modes of efficient transportation to all sites within scope of assignment<BR><BR>Preferred qualifications for this position include:<BR>* Industry recognized certifications (MCSE, MCSA, MCSD, etc.)<BR>* Experience with the following technologies, e.g., SCCM, Power Shell, VMWare (VDI), Symantec Endpoint Protection, Symantec Endpoint Encryption, Microsoft Group Policy <BR><BR>About the department you will serve.<BR>Providence Strategic and Management Services provides a variety of functional and system support services for all eight regions of Providence Health & Services from Alaska to California.
