 <td align="left">Title: Clinical Director of Operating Room Services Location: Washington-Spokane Job Number:_17321 Providence is calling a Clinical Director of Operating Room Services to Providence Sacred Heart Medical Center in Spokane, WA. We are seeking a transformational nurse leader to provide leadership for 32 operating rooms, including all adult and pediatric patients in the Main Operating Rooms, Cardiac and Vascular Operating Room, and Day Surgery Operating Rooms. In this position you will: * Assume twenty-four hour accountability for patient care management, operational management, human resource management, and fiscal management for the Perioperative Department. * Be accountable for process management and for the design, implementation and evaluation of processes that meet the efficiencies and key performance indicators expected by the surgeions and the Medical Center throughout the cardiac and vascular continuum. * Be accountable for the multidisciplinary approach to the quality improvement process through assessment, evaluation, analysis,and revision of intradepartmental and interdeparatmental systems that allow for enhanced productivity, cost reduction, physician satisfaction, and patient care. * Work closely with the assistant nurse managers to promote positive staff morale, which includes involvement of staff in program development and systems, and the facilitation of staff shared decision making on issues affecting patient care. * Mentor and develop unit managers and promote a positive teamwork environment, which includes unit management support, supervision in program development, and participation in the development of effective operationa and marketing strategies for particular services. * Apply leadership skills to serve as a representative or chair on multidisciplinary committees and task force committees. * Integrate activities between both urban services sites providing for consistency in nursing and patient care leadership presence and consistent standards of care. Qualifications: Required qualifications for this position include: * Bachelor''s degree in nursing (BSN) * Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in Washington State * 10 years experience in Perioperative nursing, of which 5 were in progressive management roles in the Perioperative setting * 5 or more years experience in clinical setting in a managerial or leadership capacity Preferred qualifications for this position include: * Previous managerial experience in nursing in an operating room About the ministry you will serve.
