               <td align="left"><font style="font-size: 100%;">Title: Clinical Informatics Trainer<BR>Location: Washington-Spokane<BR>Job Number:_18725<BR>Providence is calling a Clinical Informatics Trainer to Providence Health & Services in Spokane, WA.<BR><BR>We are seeking an individual with to support Informatics quality and improve patient outcomes through education, standardization and process improvement. The Clinical Informatics Trainer is part of a shared services team supporting the continuum of care for our patients. This dynamic position will assume a central role in Spokane, and will be part of a larger team in Western Washington. Work necessitates agility, commitment, and an interest in supporting clinical and business health care functions through technology.<BR><BR>In this position you will:<BR>* Provide training and support for continuing care service lines (Skilled Nursing, Assisted Living, Home Health) staff using Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems.<BR>* Develop, standardize, prioritize, and centralize training and education materials and communications. This position is responsible for training in a manner that demonstrates supporting functionality, efficiency, accuracy, quality outcomes, and staff competency.<BR>* Work collaboratively with leaders to develop and maintain standardized practices for documentation, to improve quality of patient care, outcomes, and efficiencies of EHR documentation.<BR>* Serve as a linkage between clinical and business staff utilizing EHR applications, and Information Systems. This position will work with IS analysts to support upgrades, triage technical issues, and develop and support processes to promote data integrity and standardization.<BR>* Communicate clearly and effectively to lead staff.<BR><BR>Qualifications:<BR><BR><BR>Required qualifications for this position include:<BR>* Bachelor?s degree in nursing or other clinical specialty<BR>* Minimum one year training experience in healthcare or related field<BR>Preferred qualifications for this position include:<BR>* Degree or certification in training or education<BR>* Proficient in adult learning modalities<BR>* 2  years with electronic medical record applications, preferably within a post acute care setting (long term care or home services).<BR>* Specific experience with McKesson, Cerner, or Net Solutions a plus!<BR>About the department you will serve.<BR>Providence Strategic and Management Services provides a variety of functional and system support services for all eight regions of Providence Health & Services from Alaska to California.
