And you''ll be guiding the development of the new international products and systems that will function for decades as the groundwork that makes the smart gird and a sustainable future a reality.<BR><BR>Mid-Level Design Engineer (or higher) for unit testing. For the testing of multiple 3rd party and Itron meter gateways within the OpenWay International firmware group.<BR><BR>The Embedded Linux Unit Test Engineer''s responsibility is to develop firmware unit tests for embedded Linux platforms. The daily tasks may include system & algorithm analysis, software/firmware implementation, and test & debug. Requirements and valued experiences for the position are as follows.<BR><BR>Qualifications<BR><BR>- BSEE, MSEE, BSCS, or MSCS<BR>- 1+ years'' experience developing software for embedded Linux platforms.<BR>- 3+ years'' programming experience.<BR>- Software development proficiency in C++ is required.<BR>- Scripting experience is valued but not required.<BR>- Knowledge of unit test methodologies is required.<BR>- Knowledge of CPPUNIT package or other software unit test framework is values but not required.<BR>- Knowledge of electricity metering is valued by not required.<BR>- Excellent communication skills, (written, and verbal).<BR>- Strong attention to details, highly organized, computer literate.<BR>- Ability to work well in a fast-paced professional office environment.<BR><BR>NOTE: We have 7 of these open opportunities.
