<td align="left"><font style="font-size: 100%;">This is a regular status position with benefits. <BR><BR>Reporting to the Facility Manager, the Controls Engineer is resposible for providing direction and leadership to maintenance, engineering and validation personnel in the installation, operation and upgrade of controls systems on equipment and facilities used in the manufacture of pharmaceutical products. Essential responsibilities include:<BR><BR>1. Provides leadership, support and guidance on controls related issues with direct impact equipment used in the manufacture of pharmaceutical products. Includes design specification and installation of controls systems on new equipment. <BR>2. Oversees the work of controls technicians that deal with the daily maintenance and upgrades on PLC/HMI related equipment.<BR>3. Provides checkout, start-up, and validation support on new equipment at the equipment manufacture site and at Jubilant HollisterStier.<BR>4. Ensure proper use of engineering documentation as required under cGMPs. Examples: engineering drawing system, critical change request system, standard operating procedure system, validation documentation, etc.<BR>5. Ensure regulatory compliance for facility and manufacturing equipment in alignment with local, state, federal and international agencies.<BR>6. Maintain and manage the system for storing programmable device software and settings.<BR>7. Identify and perform process improvement projects to increase equipment uptime, efficiency, and reduce deviations related to equipment malfunction.<BR>8. Serve as the Project Manager on projects involving primarily controls and electrical systems utilizing current PMI methods as well as Jubilant HollisterStier internal project management guidelines.<BR><BR>QUALIFICATIONS:<BR>• Bachelor degree in Engineering or hard sciences field is required. <BR>• Engineer II requires a minimum of 3 years of project management, process development, or manufacturing support experience in a regulated industry. Previous pharmaceutical manufacturing experience desired. <BR>• Must have the ability to write complex and detailed engineering reports, to document work completed, and to utilize and apply basic engineering calculations in a cGMP environment. <BR>• Must be knowledgeable in electrical principals, including those of power distribution, low and medium voltage, AC and DC motors and drives; thorough knowledge of traditional machine controls as well as PLC programming and controls (AB, Siemens, etc), HMI/OIT controls, software (Wonderware, Fix32, RSView, etc.) and programming, SCADA systems and communication networks.<BR>• Must have proven ability to interpret detailed engineering drawings, specifications, logic diagrams, schematics, verbal and written instructions. <BR>• Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required.<BR>• Must be proficient in MS Word and Excel.<BR>• Physical requirements: Exposure to antigens, confined spaces, working in aseptic areas.<BR><BR><BR>Salary: $44,800 Min - $65,500 minimum to midpoint DOE.</font></td>
