Associates degree and/or equivalent experience in an office/administrative capacity; experience in a medical credentialing office preferred. <?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" /><BR>? Proficient computer and typing skills; experience with word processing, Microsoft Excel, and Meditech preferred. Comfortable using a Credentialing Software Program to manage files and workflow.<BR>? Ability to multi-task effectively, prioritize all credentialing responsibilities, and manage time efficiently. <BR>? Excellent organizational skills and ability to self motivate/work independently. <BR>? Professional communication skills (written and verbal) and ability to work with a wide range of personality styles.<BR>? Open, friendly, customer-service oriented personality.<BR><BR>Responsibilities:<BR>? Manages organization''s credentialing activities.<BR>? Responsible for appointment, re-appointment, and privileging of all providers.<BR>? Actively participates in multi-hospital and city-wide credentials committee and city-wide credentialing process.<BR>? Utilizes time efficiently to meet deadlines; completing tasks on time while minimizing overtime.<BR>? Practices effective problem solving and resolution skills and utilizes the line of authority appropriately.<BR>? Assists in collecting and reporting data related to medical staff performance/quality indicators.<BR>? Maintains current knowledge of medical staff standards, rules and regulations, and medical staff bylaws.<BR>? Processes requests and monitors duration of temporary privileges.<BR>? Serves as liaison to Program Managers/Directors and medical staff.<BR>? Participates in the development and attainment of personal and department goals.<BR>?
