Direct Support Professionals provide a home like environment to support and encourage individual growth, a sense of community and independent living skills. <BR><BR>Other aspects of the position might include:<BR><BR>**Communication Difficulties**<BR>Every person has the potential to increase their level of communication, allowing them to initiate, respond and make choices. <BR><BR>**Hygiene**<BR>Assisting with; bathing, toileting, dressing, and overall personal hygiene emphasizing the importance feeling comfortable, healthy, and clean. <BR><BR>**Aggressive Behaviors**<BR>Some of the individuals we support might have problem behaviors. <BR><BR>**Immobility Assistance**<BR>Depending on the types of assistance the individuals require, you might need to lift bodies or assist in lifting/transferring individuals from locations. <BR><BR>**Medical Assistance**<BR>In some cases, the individuals might need medical assistance including blood sugar testing, injections, passing of medication, etc.<BR><BR><b>We offer: <BR>** A fun, creative work environment.<BR>** Training, including CPR/First Aid and positive behavior support<BR>** Strong support from upper management.<BR>** Opportunity to work with a team that appreciates new ideas to build a     program that offers individuals all the opportunities of their non-disabled peers.<BR><BR><b>Requirements:<b><BR>Must be 21 years of age or older<BR>1 Year Experience Providing Direct Supervision of Children<BR>Must be able to pass a criminal background check<BR>Must have a clean driving record<BR>Prefer experience with developmentally disabled children/adolescents <BR><BR>***Equal Opportunity Employer***</font></td>

KEY REQUIREMENTS:
High School Graduate 1 year verifiable experience working with Children & must be 21 years of age 12 Months
