The DS Engineer designs are performed under the guidance and oversight of the DS Manager/Architect and/or their delegate and will execute assignments under minimal direction. This role frequently designs for five or more concurrent projects and is expected to meet project deadlines and budgets. Errors and omissions generally create significant business impact. Although design work performed is focused on Distributed Systems, an Enterprise Systems view and mindset is necessary.<BR>Our Client uses HP Client Automation (HPCA) Software, which is a PC Configuration Lifecycle Management Tool from Hewlett-Packard for automating routine client (computing) management tasks such as Operating System Deployments and Upgrades, Patch (computing) Management, Application Software Deployment, Application Usage Monitoring and Remote System Management.<BR>Job Responsibilities:<BR>* Engineering for ''Distributed Systems'' (i.e. Desktops, Laptops, Tablets, Handhelds, Ruggedized devices for mobile workforce, Printers, Scanners, Cameras, & all related peripherals.)<BR>* Provide design work for the Project Management Office, adhering to Project Methodology Guidelines.<BR>* Adhere to Change Management procedures and execute methodically planned production changes.<BR>* Adhere to engineering models as introduced by the Client Distributed Systems Manager/Architect.<BR>* Adhere to security guidelines and procedures.<BR>* Manage and follow technology lifecycle roadmaps for delegated technologies, as set forth by the Client''s DS (Distributed Systems) Manager/Architect.<BR>* Develop accurate and timely systems documentation.<BR>* Develop, maintain and adhere to Distributed Systems design process and procedures.<BR>* Maintain annual education and certification programs.<BR>* Execute RFP''s (Request For Proposal), co-developed with DS Manager/Architect & Purchasing, to research and recommend technology solutions.<BR>* Maintain expert knowledge of hardware, operating systems, and distributed systems technologies.<BR>* Perform operational engineering duties, as assigned by DS Manager/Architect.<BR>* Participate in quality checks and help build process for all Information Technology Delivery (ITD) Distributed Systems (DS) designs and product deliveries.<BR>* Responsible for Mac environment and management of OSX and iOS devices including image creation and deployment with a strong emphasis on automated and self service technologies.<BR>* Work with Project teams as needed to develop Mac solutions for di                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                       </font></td>
