               <td align="left"><font style="font-size: 100%;">Title: Emergency Department Technician<BR>Location: Washington-Spokane<BR>Job Number:_19337<BR>Providence is calling an Emergency Department Technician (0.5 FTE, part-time, day shift) to Providence Sacred Heart Medical Center in Spokane, WA.<BR>The ED Tech is a service-oriented individual providing a variety of nursing related and patient care services for patients in the Emergency Department. <BR><BR>In this position you will:<BR>* Work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a safe environment for staff, patients and visitors<BR>* Take and record vital signs, height, weight and other applicable measurements<BR>* Perform treatment/procedures such as applying topical ointments, surgical skin preparations and application of ice packs and heat<BR>* Assist licensed staff in the preparation of patients for treatments/procedures<BR><BR>Qualifications:<BR><BR>Required  qualifications for this position include:<BR>* High School diploma or equivalent<BR><BR>Preferred  qualifications for this position include:<BR>* Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification<BR>* Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) certificate or Nursing Assistant Certified (NAC) certificate in Washington State<BR>* Health Care Assistant (HCA) certification<BR>* Experience in an acute care facility or an ambulatory setting<BR>* Experience in a fast-paced, emergency care environment<BR>About the hospital you will serve.<BR>Providence Sacred Heart Medical Center & Children?s Hospital has a commanding presence in Spokane, Washington and is a beacon of hope and healing for patients throughout the region.
