               <td align="left"><font style="font-size: 100%;">Title: Emergency Psychiatric Triage<BR>Location: Washington-Spokane<BR>Job Number:_14567<BR>Providence is calling an  Emergency Psychiatric Triage  to Providence Sacred Heart Hospital in Spokane, WA.<BR>We are seeking an Emergency Psychiatric Triage Counselor to provide Psychiatric support to our Emergency Department.<BR><BR>In this position you will:<BR>* Demonstrate an advanced understanding of contemporary psychosocial principles in relation to his/her area of responsibility.<BR>* Follow orientation and defined training programs, satisfactorily performs skills as defined by departmental policy and orientation procedure. <BR>* Implement selected patient care activities in collaboration with other team members.<BR>* Triage will assess in terms of suicidality (including past attempts/suicidal ideation), homicidality and ability to care for self; safety needs; orientation and thought process (formal or informal mental status exam).<BR><BR><BR>Qualifications:<BR><BR>Required  qualifications for this position include:<BR>* BA Degree in Psychology or related Human Services preferred (education requirement may be waived in the case of an applicant demonstrating exceptional relevant clinical experience.<BR>* At least one year of psychiatric experience.<BR>* Valid and unencumbered Washington State License/Registration for one of the following: Agency Affiliated Counselor, Certified Counselor, Mental Health Counselor, Licensed Advance Social Worker or Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker.<BR>* Washington State Nursing Assistant registration (NAR) within 30 days of hire.<BR>Preferred  qualifications for this position include:<BR>* Able to communicate fluently (speaking and writing) using the English language<BR><BR><BR>About the hospital you will serve.<BR>Providence Sacred Heart Medical Center has a commanding presence in Spokane, Washington and is a beacon of hope and healing for patients throughout the region.
