SNAP is seeking qualified individuals for Energy Assistance Supervisor positions. These positions support diverse, low-income populations, provide outstanding customer service to those seeking Energy Assistance Programs.  This position oversees training and supervision of Energy Specialist positions.  All applications must be at SNAP Human Resources office by 4pm August 24, 2012 in order to be considered. <BR>  <BR><b>JOB REQUIREMENTS:</b><BR>- A combination of education and experience equaling at least five years. Two of the five years must contain supervisory experience. Including, but not limited to: <BR><BR>- High School diploma/equiv. & 5 yrs of exp. in non-profit, social services or related field inc. 2 yrs of supervisory exp. in any field, OR<BR>- AA degree & 3 yrs of exp. in a social services or related field inc. 2 yrs of supervisory exp. in any field, OR <BR>- Bachelor's degree & 1 yr of exp. in a non-profit, social services or related field inc. 2 yrs of supervisor exp. in any field. Please note supervision exp. Doesn't need to be in non-profit, social service or related sector.<BR><BR><b>Must be prepared and able to demonstrate the following qualifications at the time of referral:</b><BR>- Empathize/advocate for low-income & vulnerable people <BR>- Effectively train & coach employees, & monitor performance ensuring expectations are met <BR>- Maintain confidentiality with info.<BR>- Provide outstanding customer service <BR>- Solutions based problem solving & resolving conflict<BR>- General office skills<BR>- Strong interpersonal skills, effectively working in a team, including working with individuals who use English as a second language<BR>- Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills, high attention to detail & ability to work effectively in an fast-paced, high-stress setting <BR>- Proficient in computers, inc. word processing, spreadsheet, data entry and email <BR>- Gather information & enter it into database & scan documentation <BR>- Valid driver's license, satisfactory driving record, insurance, & personal vehicle for business use (mileage reimbursed)<BR>- Annual Energy Assistance Program training<BR><BR><BR><b>PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:</b><BR>- A combination of education & exp. equaling 7 yrs. 3 of 7 yrs must contain supervisory exp.  Including:<BR>- High School diploma/equivalent AND 7 yrs of exp. in a non-profit, social services or related field & 3 yrs of supervisory exp. OR<BR>- AA degree & 5 yrs of exp. in a social services or related field & 3 yrs of supervisory exp. in any field, OR <BR>- Bachelor's degree & 3 yrs exp. in a non-profit, social services or related field & 3 yrs supervisor exp. in any field. Please note supervision experience does not need to be non-profit, social service or related sector.<BR><BR><b>HOURS/DAYS/SCHEDULE:</b><BR>Starting salary for this position is $2591 per month . Hours to be discussed at time of interview. Near public transport.<BR><BR><b>SALARY/WAGE/BENEFITS:</b><BR>$12.82per hour.
