               <td align="left"><font style="font-size: 100%;">RESPONSIBILITIES:<BR>The Family Services Program Director is responsible for development, oversight, and supervision of Family Services Department.  The Family Services Program Director represents the mission of the Martin Luther King Jr. Family Outreach Center in a professional manner. All activities will be conducted congruently with center policies, procedures and in adherence to the Program Philosophy and Commitment. Perform all duties using culturally sensitive, research-based best practices. Participate in training and discussions on cultural values and needs of families, and to continue to develop professional skills and expertise.<BR><BR>QUALIFICATIONS<BR><BR>I. Master degree in Social Work or other closely related degree. (Preferred: Washington State Licensed Social Worker Associated-Advance or Licensed Social Worker Associate-Independent Clinical)<BR><BR>II. Minimum five years of experience in direct service with 3 years of supervisory experience<BR><BR>III. Must have document experience in grant writing and budget management<BR><BR>IV. Have a current valid driver’s license and proof of automobile insurance, as required by state law and regulation<BR><BR>V. Must complete a criminal history and background inquiry, as required by DSHS within seven days of employment; Employment subject to successfully passing criminal and background inquiries and DSHS approval<BR><BR>VI. Knowledge and/or training in the following:<BR>a. Child Abuse and Neglect<BR>b. Conflict Resolution<BR>c. Communication Skills<BR>d. Effective Time Management Skill<BR>e. Family Dynamics<BR>f. Substance Abuse<BR>g. Child Development and Safety<BR>h. Training in HIV, Blood-borne pathogen, First Aid and CPR</font></td>
