At Itron, you will have the opportunity to shape our future - and the world''s.<BR><BR>Itron is looking for a skilled Financial Analyst II to develop, interpret and implement financial concepts for financial planning and control for the Energy segment. The individual will perform technical analysis to determine present and future financial performance. They will gather, analyze, prepare and summarize recommendations for financial reviews forecasts, and budgets.<BR><BR>Duties and Responsibilities:<BR><BR>-   Standardize analysis and reporting against established objectives for the segment.<BR>-   Plan, formulate and conduct financial studies to define performance plans for short and long range corporate profit goals<BR>-   Contribute to the forecasting and budgeting processes<BR>-   Develop tools and processes to consolidate information and improve financial insight<BR>-   Conduct ad hoc financial analysis and evaluate financial implications of specific business decisions and opportunities<BR>-   Coordinate activities and develop relationships with internal functional units<BR>-   Identify opportunities to reduce risk or increase financial visibility<BR>-   Develop and implement processes to increase efficiency<BR><BR>Qualifications<BR><BR>Experience:This position requires a minimum of 2-3 years related Financial Analyst Corporate experience required.<BR><BR>Education:Bachelor''s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or MIS (Management Information Systems) or equivalent experience; MBA (a plus)<BR><BR>Skills & Experience Required:<BR><BR>*<BR>Good understanding of P&L/Income Statement and a chart of accounts.<BR><BR>*<BR>Forecast/Budget and variance analysis experience.<BR><BR>*<BR>Strong technical aptitude and ease of use with various technologies and reporting tools.<BR><BR>*<BR>Advanced proficiency with Excel using moderately complex formulas, pivot tables, graphing, data sorting/grouping, external database connection and data feeds.<BR><BR>*<BR>Data mining and experience pulling data out of larger systems.<BR><BR>*<BR>Accounting experience in regional/global consolidations and Financial Planning & Analysis.<BR><BR>*<BR>SharePoint experience.<BR><BR>*<BR>Hyperion/Essbase experience.<BR><BR>*<BR>Similar role with a multinational company (a plus).<BR><BR>CB1<BR><BR>About Itron:<BR><BR>Itron is an EOE AA Employer.
