               <td align="left"><font style="font-size: 100%;">Financial Institution Accounting Analyst<BR><BR><BR>Spokane based financial institution looking for a temporary experienced Senior Accountant with financial institution experience. This role will be temporary until possibly the end of Q1 2013, and there is always a chance for this role to become full-time depending on the chosen candidate and what skills they bring to the table. This role will provide support to the Accounting Department in analysis, accounting, board reporting, management reporting and modeling. Assist in the preparation of journal entries, perform account reconciliation, analyze financial statements and perform ALM duties as requested. Help to ensure that all accounting records, policies and procedures are in accordance with generally accepted accounting practices. <BR>ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Analyzes, interprets and communicates cost and expense variances to management.<BR>Assists with or prepares schedules and reports which summarizes the company financial position and results of operations for auditors and examiners.<BR>Provides back-up role to various accounting functions.<BR>Provides ALM maintenance in accordance with GAAP utilizing 3rd party software to create ALM or profitability reports.<BR>Assists with and prepares reports for company and other regulatory agencies as well as internal management reports.<BR>Advises management on desirable operational adjustments due to regulatory changes, current economic issues, and related matters that may impact the financial stability and soundness of the credit union.<BR>Performs other duties as needed.<BR><BR>PERFORMANCE STANDARDS:<BR>Financial statements and all supporting information must be accurate, in balance, prepared on a timely basis, and in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles and applicable regulation. Must be able to communicate well with subordinates and other employees and demonstrate leadership ability.
