               <td align="left"><font style="font-size: 100%;">FLORAL CLERK - part time<BR>www.safeway.com<BR><BR>JOB DESCRIPTION:<BR>As a primary contact for Safeway customers, the Floral <BR>Clerk provides friendly, courteous, and helpful service.  <BR>Stocks floral area daily with plants, balloons, garden <BR>supplies and artificial arrangements.  Waters all plants.  <BR>Designs floral arrangements with or without customer <BR>input.  Cleans the floral department area.  Takes inventory <BR>of all incoming stock and supplies.  Cleans and prepares <BR>bunches of flowers for display.  Decorates plants with <BR>bows, wrap, and ribbon.  Inflates balloons for display and <BR>special orders.  Checks plants for condition and inventory <BR>purposes.  Prices plants and arrangements.  Prepares and <BR>maintains displays of outdoor plants.  Removes garbage and <BR>debris from floral area and maintains cleanliness of out <BR>side floral area.  May deliver flowers, plants, or displays <BR>to local area customers.  Operates cash register to total <BR>bill and make change.<BR><BR>JOB RELATED QUALIFICATIONS:<BR>1. Ability to follow company customer service <BR>procedures. Demonstrated prior customer service skills or <BR>related experience. <BR>2. Ability to interact with customers and co-workers.<BR>3. Ability to work independently when necessary.<BR>4. Ability to understand and follow instructions.<BR>5.
