They value diversity, are inclusive and are committed to a global mindset.<BR><BR><BR><BR>Position Summary<BR><BR>The iHealth Heuristics Developer will extract Heuristics Ideas from the Heuristics development Queue, write the Heuristic and follow our internal processes to ensure it meets our quality requirements before it is released. This developer will also be required to address any issues with existing Heuristics from a sustaining perspective. This developer will also be required to help complete User Acceptance Testing of iHealth releases that contain new functionality. The iHealth Heuristic Developer will also be responsible to completing the required documentation associated with Heuristics and any feature developed.<BR><BR><BR><BR><BR><BR>Responsibilities<BR><BR><BR><BR>* Responsible for upholding F5?s Business Code of Ethics and for promptly reporting violations of the Code or other company policies.<BR><BR>* Develop, document, test and release Recommended Heuristics from the Development Queue<BR><BR>* Address issues as they are reported with existing Heurtistic<BR><BR>* Perform iHealth User Acceptance Testing, as required to support a feature release<BR><BR>* Perform other related duties as assigned.<BR><BR><BR><BR><BR>Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities<BR><BR><BR>* Demonstrate a general understanding of the BIG-IP products and associated Modules. (Should be able to install and configure the products)<BR><BR>* Scripting and programming ability including two of the following bash, PERL, Python, Ruby. Lua, or C/C++<BR><BR>* Experience with processing XML.<BR><BR>* Strong interpersonal skills. Will rely heavily on the Product Experts (Solution Content Developers) to get good Heuristic Specifications<BR><BR><BR><BR><BR>Qualifications<BR><BR><BR>* Minimum 2+ years relevant work experience.<BR><BR>* Undergraduate Computer Science degree or equivalent work experience. Post-graduate degree a plus<BR><BR><BR><BR>Physical Demands and Work Environment<BR><BR>Duties are performed in a normal office environment while sitting at a desk or computer table. Duties require the ability to utilize a computer, communicate over the telephone, and read printed material.
