<td align="left"><font style="font-size: 100%;">Key Responsibilities:<BR> • Review requisitions of incoming prenatal, postnatal, and oncology specimens to ensure that testing strategy coincides with indication for testing and existing client communication and expectations in regards to the case.<BR>• Assure essential information about the patient and the patient sample has been provided to manage the case in the most appropriate manner.<BR>• Triage cases as appropriate for follow-up with internal and external stakeholders.<BR>• Facilitate communication of these follow-up steps to all appropriate parties for downstream operations<BR>• Oversight of Send-out Program including the management and coordination of esoteric send-outs not routinely handled at Signature Genomics. This may include active communication and coordination with reference laboratories in regards to specimen types, sample preparation, billing options, and other practices to insure quality results are obtained on behalf of the client. This will include collaborative communication with internal colleagues and external clients to facilitate decision-making with information learned from reference laboratories.<BR>• Triage send-out results to appropriate downstream colleagues to insure timely reporting<BR>Job Requirements :<BR> A highly experienced Cytogenetic Technologist or Clinical Laboratory Technician (minimum of 2 years)<BR>• OR an experienced professional with bachelor degree and minimum 2 years clinical laboratory operations experience<BR>• OR a Certified Genetic Counselor with at least 2 years’ experience post graduate school, preferably in a lab setting. <BR> <BR>Additional requirements:<BR>• Excellent communicator for both internal colleague and external client communications<BR>• Ability to articulate complex processes in regards to complex clinical cases and laboratory operations<BR>• Professional manner<BR>• Excellent team player<BR>• Demonstrates good judgment when dealing with unexpected issues<BR>• Ability to delegate tasks and information to appropriate upstream and downstream colleagues<BR>• Desire to provide excellent client service by being client-focused<BR>• Clear and concise thought processes and the ability to articulate as such</font></td>
