               <td align="left"><font style="font-size: 100%;">DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES:<BR>PURPOSE<BR>Under direct supervision performs a variety of unskilled yard laborer activities.<BR><BR>ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES<BR>1. Performs routine unskilled laborer tasks on a regular (daily) schedule such as cleaning up yard and plant areas.<BR>2. Responds to special requests such as moving, carrying materials by hand or hauling materials with a cart.<BR>3. Assists in keeping loading areas stocked with appropriate inventory.<BR>4. Assists customers; locates indicated products and assists customers in loading.<BR>5. Reviews materials loaded against invoice or requisition; completes and routes paperwork appropriately.<BR>6. Understands and observes all safety procedures and practices in order to prevent injury to self or co-workers; attends periodic safety meetings as required; may recommend changes to improve safety procedures.<BR>7. Other duties may be assigned.<BR><BR>COMPETENCIES<BR>• Knowledge of safety procedures while performing tasks<BR>• Knowledge of company products/inventory available at work location<BR>• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions<BR>• Ability to read and understand invoices and requisitions<BR><BR>MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS<BR>High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED); or equivalent work experience. This is an entry level position where the incumbent will receive on-the-job training.<BR><BR>WORK ENVIRONMENT / PHYSICAL ACTIVITY <BR>The work environment and physical activity described are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.<BR>o Work is performed primarily in an outdoor yard environment, subject to variations in temperature and weather, equipment noise and dust.<BR>o Must be able to lift and carry up to 25 pounds frequently and on occasion up to 80 pounds.<BR>o May be required to perform specific tasks that involve climbing, lifting, pushing or kneeling.</font></td>
