The employer is willing to train those with little experience in the industry. This apprentice position is an excellent opportunity to progress to Journey Level while learning a trade that will last a lifetime. Will learn how to install low voltage systems including sound, fire alarm, security and sound to name a few. Will be doing follow-up and training new and existing customers on the new installs, and learn to manage projects for timely completion. Overnight travel is required and may be gone for a week at a time, approximately 80% of the time, however, will be home on weekends. Expenses will be paid up front during travel.<BR><BR><b>JOB REQUIREMENTS:</b><BR>- Must have a high school diploma or GED/certified equivalency.<BR>- Must have high school algebra with a passing score of 70% or higher, transcripts will be required. <BR>- Must have a current drivers license. <BR>- Must be physically able to do the work of the trade including climbing ladders, working in overheads, and lifting up to 100lbs.<BR><BR><b>Must be prepared and able to demonstrate the following qualifications at the time of referral:</b><BR>Must have a strong work ethic, willingness to learn the trade, have a positive attitude, and a track record of being successful in ones previous work history. <BR><BR><b>PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:</b><BR>- A background in construction is desired.<BR>- It is preferred that candidates have some knowledge and experience in one or more of the following electronic fields; telecommunications, Audio/Video, Pro Sound, Security, CCTV, or computer hardware. <BR>- Honorably discharged veterans, widows/widowers, or spouses of honorably discharged veterans who have service connected permanent and total disability are encouraged to apply.<BR> <BR><b>HOURS/DAYS/SCHEDULE:</b><BR>Will be discussed at the time of the interview. Hours will be at least 40 hours a week typically.<BR><BR><b>SALARY/WAGE/BENEFITS:</b><BR>Wage depends on experience and qualifications. Benefits include a generous vacation plan, sick days, holidays.
