A north Spokane nursing care facility is recruiting for an LPN Supervisor who will be responsible for supervising nursing personnel to deliver nursing care and within the scope of practice coordinates care delivery which will ensure that residents needs are met in accordance with professional standards. Interface with residents and families, processes orders, maintain alert documentation, dining room, turnover, and coverage support. JOB REQUIREMENTS: - Must have a HS Diploma or GED. - Must be an LPN in Washington and have a current Washington State license. - Must have 12 months experience in the field. - Must be able to work evening shifts. - Must have experience in a care setting, with preference given to applicants with supervisory experience. - Expert verbal and written communication skills, be able to deliver presentations to groups, and be able to effectively deliver curriculum. Must be prepared and able to demonstrate the following qualifications at the time of referral: - Expert ability to effectively communicate with and work with outside agencies. Must be able to successfully pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check. Able to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: - Previous home care (NAR, CAN) experience a plus. - Comfortable with clients: disabled (physically/or developmentally) elderly and ability to accept all races, creeds, socio economic levels, etc. HOURS/DAYS/SCHEDULE: This position will work from 6 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Monday through Sunday and in the evening from 2:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. Monday through Sunday. Public transportation is available. SALARY/WAGE/BENEFITS: Wage will start at $16.50 to $22.00 per hour depending on experience with a shift premium wage for the evening shift.
