<td align="left"><font style="font-size: 100%;">Summary: Primary duties consist of the application of mechanical engineering knowledge to the unique set of circumstances at each customer location to maximize customer satisfaction. Must work independently, without supervision, exercising discretion and judgment to provide design and engineering solutions for Wagstaff supplied equipment.<BR><BR>Job Responsibilities:<BR><BR>• Participate with project teams to define the mechanical engineering and equipment requirements beyond the proposal and order preparation phase of a project.<BR>• Create the design documents necessary for acquiring customer approval for equipment designs, oversee production of design documents necessary for equipment production, both according to documented design procedures.<BR>• Serve as liaison between customer’s technical personnel for mechanical engineering and equipment issues throughout the project, up to and including product Start-up.<BR>• Review the Approval Drawings and resultant Manufacturing Drawings for compliance with the Guidelines for Handling Molten Aluminum as set forth by the Aluminum Association, Inc.<BR>• Provide documented technical and analytical evaluations for the design solutions as part of the project file; keeping safety, functionality, and cost effectiveness paramount.<BR>• Participate as a member of a team.<BR>• Cross train with other team members in support of the required engineering and designs for all Wagstaff product lines.<BR>• Prepare and release of associated design documents.<BR>• Provide technical direction and consultation to other team members.<BR>• Create and maintain design standards as necessary.<BR>• Generate parametric solid seed models for use in the generation of customer approval drawings and mechanical design drawings.<BR>• Some travel, both international and domestic.<BR>• Implement company vision statement, mission statement, and corporate and departmental goals and objectives.<BR>• Abide by company policies.<BR>• Other miscellaneous duties as assigned by management.<BR><BR>Qualifications:<BR><BR>• B.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering required<BR>• <b>Minimum of 5 years related work experience required</b><BR>• Extensive CAD experience required<BR>• Strong communication skills and experience in technical writing<BR>• Applied knowledge of structural design, hydraulics, and heat transfer<BR>• Proficient in the use of applicable business software<BR>• Knowledge of shop procedures, machining operations, and other fabrication methods<BR>• Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain customer and supplier relationships<BR>• Capable of working independently, with minimal management and technical direction, and as a member of a team<BR><BR>To view language, math, reasoning skills, physical demands, and <BR>work environment visit the full posting on the website link.<BR><BR>Wagstaff, Inc. does not discriminate based on age, race, color, religion, gender, national origin, disability status, marital status, veteran status, or membership in any class protected under applicable law.</font></td>
