The Medical Director is responsible for developing, monitoring and enhancing best medical practices and optimal patient outcomes. The Medical Director will assist St. Luke''s with building community relations and assuring an integrated continuum of care. Collaboratively with the executive team, will lead payment reform and bundling initiatives to position St. Luke''s for the changing healthcare environment. <BR>Desired Skills & Experience<BR>* Graduate of an accredited medical school and board certified in an appropriate specialty.<BR>* Completed a formal residency in physical medicine and rehabilitation<BR>* Licensed to practice medicine in the state of Washington, or eligible<BR>* Minimum of eight years as a collaborative team member providing rehabilitation services in an inpatient rehabilitation program<BR>* Minimum of five years management/director experience (eight years preferred)<BR>* Knowledge of current reimbursement practices, policies/procedures for Inpatient Rehabilitation Facility at the local/state and federal levels<BR>* Experience with electronic medical record documentation standards and utilization<BR>Company Description<BR>As the region?s largest free-standing physical rehabilitation hospital and the only level 1 trauma rehabilitation hospital in the Inland Northwest, St. Luke?s Rehabilitation Institute serves more than 7,000 patients each year.
