We have an on-call vacancy with our Eleanor Chase and Brownstone facilities located in the city of Spokane. <BR><BR>Pioneer Human Services (PHS) is a nationally recognized statewide non-profit organization with over 50 locations providing an integrated array of services to include employment and training, chemical dependency treatment, mental health counseling and corrections service.<BR><BR>This position is responsible for enforcing policies and procedures of Pioneer Human Services and the Department of Corrections. The incumbent is responsible for supporting and maintaining the safety and security of all staff and residents.<BR><BR>Education & Experience Required<BR>• High school diploma or GED. <BR>• Bachelor’s degree, coursework in Criminal Justice, Corrections, Social Work or related field preferred <BR>• One (1) year experience working with offenders and/or individuals who are incarcerated preferred. <BR>• Ability to monitor and report out the daily activities of the house that will demonstrate the accountability of the residents within the framework of the house policies<BR>• Demonstrated experience supporting residents to learn new and proactive skills to be successful in the community<BR>• Ability to maintain facility<BR>• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to interact with clients, peers, management and corrections personnel<BR>• Demonstrated experience working as a contributing member of a team <BR>• Understanding and practicing the concept of establishing strong personal and professional boundaries <BR>• Criminal background check and pre-employment drug testing is required. <BR><BR>Application Process<BR>In order to be considered for this position, please visit our website at www.pioneerhumanservices.org and download our application.
