Seeks ChildrenA?s Respite Care Provider Sub-Contractor. This position supports the overall mission and vision of Community-Minded Enterprises and the Child Care Aware of Eastern Washington Program. Child Care Aware of Eastern Washington is partnering with the Air Force to serve the military families stationed at Fairchilde AFB. This program offers in home respite care for families who have children with special needs. JOB REQUIREMENTS: - Ability to travel to and from families homes, on and off base. - Ability to clear a WSP Criminal Background check, WSP Child Abuse Registry Check, & Sex Offender Registery Check. - CPR/First Aid Training Certificate Must be prepared and able to demonstrate the following qualifications at the time of referral: - Any professional licenses or certifications that you are using to show qualifications for this position. - Demonstrated experience tracking, managing, and meeting goals. Demonstrated ability to prioritize work and manage time effectively - Excellent written and verbal communication skills - Demonstrated commitment to cultural relevancy, diversity and inclusion -Strong competency working independently PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Basis training, experience with care of children and/or adults having special needs A combination of education (non-degreed) training, and experience with care of children and /or adults having special needs A combination of education (AA degree or higher) and experience with care of children and/or having special needs A combination of education with a degree in early childhood, special needs, or a related field and /or experience in the care of children and/or adults having special needs A combination of education that includes a LPN or CNA with either, early childhood, special needs or a related field and /or experience in the care of children and/or adults having special needs A nurse with experience caring for children and/or adults with special needs who have medical needs HOURS/DAYS/SCHEDULE: Specific hours to be discussed at interview. Near bus route. SALARY/WAGE/BENEFITS: Salary is DOE and will be discussed at interview.
