               <td align="left"><font style="font-size: 100%;">Title: Senior Accountant - Deaconess Hospital<BR>Location: WA-Spokane<BR>Under the direction of the ACFO, the senior accountant functions as a lead accountant and will coordinate and maintain the hospital''s financial records and provide accurate and timely financial information for the hospital. The senior accountant will apply principles of acceptable accounting standards and statistical analysis in maintaining the hospital''s accounting system. The senior accountant will be an integral part of the team that prepares the monthly, quarterly and annual workpapers for the cost report, monthly financial package and other reports as required. The senior accountant will oversee the preparation of reconciliation of all balance sheet accounts and income and expense accounts as requested. The senior accountant will prepare and provide supporting documentation for higher level and complex journal entries as assigned. The senior accountant will be the key staff person assigned to proforma development and other financial analysis related to new or continuing hospital iniitiatives.<BR>Education:<BR>Associate of Arts Degree or Technical School equivalent, concentration in accounting required. Bachelors Degree in Accounting or related Business field preferred<BR><BR>Experience: Experience with personal computer applications including but not not limited to Microsoft Office. Must be able to use a 10-key calculator. General business experience desired. Experience in a healthcare facility desired, but not required.
