A Spokane Valley employer, a global leader in contract manufacturing is currently recruiting for an experienced Senior Manufacturing Engineer. Duties of this position include; performs activities associated with the development, implementation and maintenance of manufacturing processes and procedures, essential duties include determining, specifying and reviewing the most economic methods, operation sequence and tooling for parts fabrication, finishing and assembly components for final products, providing technical guidance and liaison to product operations including new techniques and determination of causes for rejected parts and their disposition, develops assembly guides, procedures and illustrations, participating in cost studies and equipment recommendations, providing guidance to assist manufacturing engineers and tool designers, providing input for manufacturing assembly costs and new product quotes, and interfaces with the customer in supporting design and development of new products. JOB REQUIREMENTS: - Must have a BS degree in mechanical engineering or in a related field. - Must have four (4) or more years experience in manufacturing engineering. Must be prepared and able to demonstrate the following the qualifications at the time of referral Must have the demonstrated ability to apply advanced mathematical concepts and reasoning to identify problems and provide solutions. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: - None HOURS/DAYS/SCHEDULE: Monday thru Friday, hours to be discussed at the time of the interview. Not near public transportation. SALARY/WAGE/BENEFITS: Employer offers a competitive salary and will be discussed at the time of the interview. Benefits include medical, dental, life ins., disability insurance, (employer pays 90% of the employee and 70% of the family premium), 401(k), vacation, and holidays.
