This Direct Hire position will be responsible for supporting the day to day IT Department operations and will be responsible for assisting the IT Manager as needed.<BR>Daily Job Responsibilities:<BR>* Assisting in designing, specifying, configuring, installing and maintaining LAN/WAN hardware, software and telecommunications services such as personal computers, system software, software applications, printers, copiers, servers (both virtual and physical) routers, bridges, switches, modems, cabling and Internet service providers.<BR>* Assisting in developing implementing policies and procedures related to network hardware and software acquisition, use, support, security and backup.<BR>* Establishing and maintaining Network User''s accounts, user environment, directories and security.<BR>* Training Users on software and equipment usage.<BR>* Responding to the needs and questions of Network Users concerning their access to resources on the network and the operations of various software programs.<BR>* Developing and communicating standards for use, operations, and security of network, personal computers and data.<BR>* Communicating with other departments to report and resolve software, hardware and operations problems.<BR>* Consulting with department Managers to develop system solutions consistent with organizational objectives.<BR>* Researching and evaluating technologies.<BR>* Testing and installing Tests software upgrades.<BR>* Collecting and analyzing network and memory utilization.<BR>* Assisting in the development and implementation of disaster recovery procedures for the IT business unit as well as keeps all procedures for production environment disaster recovery well documented in a central repository.<BR>* Assisting in managing outside vendors and their activities while working on company objectives.<BR>* Traveling overnight to branch offices on a periodic basis to perform maintenance and installation of equipment and software.<BR>* Willingness to perform work before or after hours periodically.<BR>* Keeping current and up-to-date on new and emerging technologies.<BR>* Assisting in the writing and presenting the IT Department business plan from year to year.<BR>* Assisting in working with the IT Manager, Branch Operations Manager,and Corporate Officials to formulate and build the IT budget from year to year.<BR>This is a Direct Hire Full-time Employee position in Spokane, WA and offered throughVolt Technical Resourceslocated in Spokane, WA.
