This position is benefit eligible.<BR><BR>The Manufacturing Supervisor has functional responsibility for manufacturing operations in the SVP Packaging department. Primary responsibility of the Manufacturing Supervisor will be the direct supervision of the SVP Packaging department, generation and review of Standard Operating Procedures and Batch Production Records, and compliance with cGMP through observation, training, and auditing. Essential responsibilities are to:<BR><BR>1. Supervise assigned manufacturing operations which might include: processing source materials, inspection, and packaging. Report operational status to the next level of management, and with all affected peers on a daily basis.<BR>2. Review and update manufacturing documentation associated with the manufacturing areas.<BR>3. Provide cGMP, job task, and safety training for personnel in the manufacturing areas.<BR>4. Update and maintain area Standard Operating Procedures<BR>5. Supervise hourly employee performance, including compliance with SOP’s, cGMP’s, and safety regulations.<BR>6. Perform deviation investigations related to assigned area of responsibility along with implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrence of such deviations.<BR>7. Order production supplies and equipment required to manufacture product.<BR>8. Prepare production-monitoring reports and participate in analysis of product cost and budgeting process.<BR>9. Interview new employees. Provide coaching and counseling to area personnel. Conduct performance evaluations and set objectives and performance standards for area personnel. Assist next level of management in the implementation of disciplinary action.<BR>10. Analyze and make recommendations regarding capital expenditures and efficiency improvements in the manufacturing areas.<BR>11. Interact with all supporting departments (ex: Quality Assurance, Maintenance, PIC, etc) to ensure production line problems are dealt with promptly and with appropriate quality considerations.<BR>12. Schedule the validation of processes and equipment.<BR><BR>Qualifications:<BR>• Bachelor of Science in Biology, Chemistry or other related discipline. 2 years of related experience can be substituted for the stated Bachelor of Science degree as long as another Bachelor Degree has been obtained.<BR>• Supervisor I requires a minimum of 6 months related experience. Supervisor II requires a minimum of 1 year manufacturing experience, as well as trained and knowledgeable in packaging area processes. <BR>• Previous supervisory and pharmaceutical experience required for Supervisor II, desired for Supervisor I.<BR>• Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Word and Excel is required. PowerPoint is desired.<BR>• Ability to manage conflict. Good problem solving ability is required. <BR>• Physical Requirements: 14/14 corrected vision, ability to pass color deficiency testing desired, working in areas with exposure to allergens required.<BR><BR>Salary Range: $44,800 Min to $65,500 Mid DOE<BR><BR>Please apply through our website at http://www.jublhs.com/about_us/employment_opportunities.aspx</font></td>
