You can make it happen by becoming a Baby Signs Instructor.<BR><BR>We offer several programs for people that love working with parents and babies.<BR><BR>~ Independent Certified Instructor (ICI) program for individuals<BR><BR>~ Agency Certified Instructor (ACI) program for individuals who work for children''s health, educational or family service agencies/organizations.<BR><BR>Both programs certify instructors to teach:<BR><BR>Parent Workshops<BR>This 90-minute class provides parents with an overview of the Baby Signs Program including the many benefits of signing, basic "How Tos" for teaching babies to sign, and many of the most useful signs through games, songs, and entertaining activities.<BR><BR>Infant/Toddler Play Classes<BR>A series of six theme-based classes generally offered over a 6-week period, with 45-minute sessions designed for parents and babies to attend together<BR><BR>Early Childhood Educator Training<BR>The goal of this program is to help child care programs of any size-big or small-begin enjoying the benefits that come from incorporating signing into daily interactions between children and teachers. Instructors can now offer Continuing Education Units!<BR><BR><BR>Other enrichment classes for parents and children from birth to age 5<BR>New classes that cover topics and ages well beyond the focus of our traditional signing format. The new program, called On the Grow, offers fun and exciting classes for parents and children (birth to age 5) to enjoy together.<BR><BR>We provide training - in both infant sign language, early childhood development and a certification to teach the Baby Signs Program. Instructors also receive on-going support to start and grow a thriving program in their community.<BR><BR>Both programs are self-paced, distance learning training programs, consisting of both written and video materials.
