               <td align="left"><font style="font-size: 100%;">Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.<BR> Follows all company policies and procedures as listed, but not limited to: warranty, safety, environmental, OSHA, DOT Hazmat, and ISO9000.<BR>Removes and disassembles cells and inspects parts to detect defects.<BR>Replaces defective parts, reassembles battery, and fuses lead parts with gas torch.<BR>Fills cells with acid solution and determines specific gravity of solution.<BR>Adds acid or water to obtain specified concentration.<BR>Attaches charger leads to battery posts or connector and starts charger.<BR>Reads meters and adjusts charge parameters to control time and flow of current through battery.<BR>Ability to perform discharge tests, evaluates results, and makes necessary repairs.<BR>Washes, cleans, and neutralizes customer’s batteries at customer location or in the service center.<BR>Repairs battery charging equipment.<BR>Prepares new product for shipment.<BR>Properly unloads, stores, palletizes, and loads new, used, customer repair, and scrap batteries and chargers.<BR>Travels to customer sites to evaluate, diagnose, and repair customer’s equipment.<BR>Maintains records of performance reports.<BR>Operates material handling equipment per OSHA requirements.<BR>Maintains a safe, orderly, and clean working environment.<BR>Drives truck to destination.<BR>Prepares receipts for load picked up.<BR>Maintains truck log, if necessary, according to state and federal regulations.<BR>Maintains telephone or radio contact with supervisor to receive pick up and delivery instructions.<BR>Loads and unloads truck.<BR>Positions blocks and secures cargo during transit according to state and federal DOT regulations.<BR>Inspects truck equipment and supplies such as tires, brakes, lights, fuel, oil, and water.<BR>Keeps truck clean and orderly and in proper working condition.<BR>Required Skills<BR>Qualifications:<BR>To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.  The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or abilities required.  Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.<BR> <BR>Minimum Qualifications<BR>Must have related experience or education.<BR>The ability to quickly analyze and troubleshoot defective equipment.<BR>Perform basic testing procedures.<BR>The ability to lift heavy items frequently. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.<BR>Must have a valid driver’s license and a safe driving record with minimal traffic violations.  Must be at least 21 years of age to drive a company vehicle. <BR>Must have a CDL with HAZMAT endorsement or the ability to obtain it within 90 days of employment.</font></td>
