               <td align="left"><font style="font-size: 100%;">The Client Services Technician will be responsible for the service and maintenance of computer and related equipment. He/she will provide technical and hands on approach on given tasks, exceptional customer service, and complete regular written reports as well as communicate with helpdesk center. <BR><BR>Candidate must be available for after hours (9PM or before 8AM) and weekend support. <BR><BR><BR>Regional Travel:  Frequent Travel<BR>Candidate must have valid driver’s license and good driving record. <BR>Offers will be contingent on drug test, and background check.<BR><BR>ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:<BR><BR>• Monitors the Tacoma Goodwill Helpdesk queues and works cooperatively with the rest of IT department and vendors to facilitate correction of incidents and problems.<BR>• Updates and closes Help Desk tickets in a timely manner to reflect action taken and current status.<BR>• Trains to understand all hardware and software applications in use at the Tacoma Goodwill.<BR>• Installs PC and server hardware/software and assists in the installation of networking hardware and software.<BR>• Creates report on a daily basis to include required information updates and to reflect significant activities that occurred during the shifts.<BR>• Ensures that the computer/POS equipment is kept neat and clean. This includes Retail, Workforce development, and Contract Service or other corporate locations.<BR>• Resolves internal or external customers’ complaints within scope of authority; otherwise refers the matter to management. <BR><BR>JOB REQUIREMENTS: <BR><BR>1. High school diploma or equivalent. Associate degree in computer science or related field preferred.  <BR>2. Three-years experience in installing and troubleshooting Windows Operating Systems, Desktop Hardware, and Microsoft Products. Certification (Microsoft MCP, CompTIA A+) or equivalent experience preferred. Point of Sale software/hardware experience is highly preferred.<BR>3. Experience of troubleshooting variety of equipment such as but not limited to POS systems, Thin Clients, time clocks, PCs and laser printers.<BR>4. Experience in installing server related hardware (optical drives, memory, and hard drives), evaluating performance issues on workstations and servers (upgrading and reconfiguring).<BR>5. Experience in using remote control (RDP, VNC)  to resolve client issues; internet to resolve technical issues; and engineering automation (Acronis, Norton Ghost)<BR>6. Experience with installing and upgrading PC hardware and PC software/operating systems.<BR>7. Working knowledge of LAN and WAN networking and protocols.<BR>8. Experience with network wiring - Cat5 and Ethernet cabling. Must be able to terminate a cat5 cable.<BR>9. Experience with analog/telephone wiring. Must be able to use a punch-down tool.<BR>10. Experience with network hardware - hubs, switches, routers, network cards, etc.<BR>11. Experience in multi-tasking of projects and project management.<BR>12. Excellent customer service and people skills.<BR>13. Self-motivated with excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.<BR>14. Ability to draft diagrams and clearly present solutions.<BR>15.
