Civilian employees serve a vital role in supporting the Army mission. They provide the skills that are not readily available in the military, but crucial to support military operations. The Army integrates the talents and skills of its military and civilian members to form a Total Army.

About the Position:
Recruitment or relocation bonus will not be authorized.

Medical malpractice liability insurance is not required for federal civilian healthcare providers as they are covered by the Federal Tort Claims Act (28 U.S.C. § 1346(b)) while acting within the scope of their employment.

This position is a TERM position. It is temporary and may be extended up to a maximum of four years.

This position is located at the Madagan Army Medical Center in the Department of Behavioral Health for Joint Base Lewis-McChord, Washington.
