               <td align="left"><font style="font-size: 100%;"><BR><b>JOB DESCRIPTION:</<BR>Regional economic development organization in the Columbia River Gorge is seeking a full-time Investment Platform for Economic Development Manager. This individual works under the general direction of the Executive Director to provide professional services to manage the Investment Platform for Economic Development (Platform). The Manager will assist with Platform customization, train local stakeholders, identify project investment opportunities, and manage communication between project proponents and capital providers. The Manager will also assist in creation of a statewide plan, refine the long term business model for the Platform, build the Platform member base and oversee marketplace activity.<BR><BR><BR><b>JOB REQUIREMENTS:</b> <BR>Excellent verbal and written communication skills; strong organizational skills, ability to build partnerships and work with local governments, current software skills; proficiency in handling a multitude of varied projects without much guidance; demonstrated ability to establish and maintain effective professional working relationships; demonstrated ability to prepare timely, clear, and concise reports; consistent reliability; proficiency in project budgeting and fund management, and positive ?can do? attitude, especially to provide superb customer service.<BR>Equivalent to a Bachelor?s degree in public or business administration, economic development, or related field and two years directly related experience, or any satisfactory combination of experience and training which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the above duties. Possession of a valid driver?s license is required.<BR><BR><BR><b>PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:</b><BR>A Master?s degree in business administration or related, experience working with capital providers and community leaders is desired.<BR><BR><b>HOURS / DAYS / SCHEDULE:</b><BR>Monday to Friday<BR>8am to 5pm<BR>37.5 hrs/week<BR><BR><b>SALARY / WAGE / BENEFITS:</b><BR>$52K-$67K depending on qualifications<BR>Benefit package includes medical, life dental, vision and retirement. <BR><BR><b>CLOSING DATE/DEADLINE:</b><BR>October 31 2012<BR><BR><b>HOW TO APPLY/REQUEST A REFERRAL :</b><BR>*The employer has requested that WorkSource Washington pre-screen all applicants for this position.
