Production Mechanics operate the production lines as well as make all required line adjustments. Will perform all routine line maintenance, troubleshoot malfunctions and perform equipment overhauls. Responsible for maintaining product quality and following all Silgan policies and procedures related to quality.<BR><BR>2. Must be able to demonstrate a high degree of mechanical knowledge through a mechanical entrance exam which includes precision measuring and blueprint reading.<BR><BR>3. A good work history with prior mechanical experience in a high speed manufacturing environment is preferred.<BR><BR>4. Possesses the necessary hand tools to set up and maintain all can line machinery and associated equipment.<BR><BR>5. Must be able to work any shift, weekends, and all required overtime.<BR><BR>6. Prepares and maintains reports, records, as they relate to production quality and maintenance.<BR><BR>7.
