<td align="left"><font style="font-size: 100%;"><b>JOB DESCRIPTION: </b><BR>* This position is located in Portland, OR and is for Tri-Met<BR>* Assist the marketing team in implementing comprehensive transportation programs and with customer relations outreach to identified employers, transportation management associates, colleges and universities and related organizations<BR>* Assist marketing representatives and provide support services to employer transportation coordinators and other partners<BR>* Assist with responding to customer issues and questions and work with staff to troubleshoot time sensitive service delivery issues<BR>* Coordinate employer transit passes including preparing photo identification badges, tracking and delivering annual fare instruments; direct employer questions to transportation options representatives as appropriate and track responses<BR>* Prepare customer information packets and maintaining materials necessary for participation in transportation programs outreach events, including transportation fairs, presentations, community events and agency on street outreach; participate in outreach events and provide customer assistance with transportation options<BR>* Assist with customer information mailings and promotions; develop promotional materials in cooperation with Marketing Manager<BR>* Assist the transportation options specialist with updating the employer and college database and maintaining survey data<BR>* Produce reports from the database, and prepare survey results during contract renewal season or as needed; generate monthly pass contracts from database<BR>* Perform a variety of routine administrative tasks including, tracking of invoices for emergency ride home program; preparing invoice requests with finance staff; tracking of the employer program portion of the annual budget and other assigned tasks<BR>* Successful candidate will have excellent verbal and written communication skills, ability to organize, prioritize and meet deadlines, ability to use good judgment, can work as an effective team member, and can be assertive and establish good rapport with the general public<BR><BR><b>JOB REQUIREMENTS :</b> <BR>* High School Diploma/GED<BR>* Three years experience in sales/marketing, advertising or customer service<BR>* Must have a valid drivers license with a good driving record-no more than one accident or two moving violations in the previous five years-needed to get to and from events/locations to perform duties<BR>* Ability to lift up to 50 pounds<BR>* Demonstrated intermediate skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Access and database applications<BR>* Ability to pass a pre-employment criminal background check and drug screen administered by employer<BR><BR><b>HOURS/DAYS/SCHEDULE: </b> <BR>* Full time <BR>* Schedule to be determined<BR><BR><b>SALARY/WAGE/BENEFITS: </b> <BR>* $18.65 to $26.56 per hour DOE<BR>* Benefits include dental, medical, paid holidays, life insurance, LTD, sick leave, vacation and vision <BR><BR><b>CLOSING DATE/DEADLINE: </b><BR>* Position closes with employer on November 9, 2012<BR><BR><b>HOW TO APPLY/REQUEST A REFERRAL: </b> <BR>* <b> If you would like assistance with your online application please come to WorkSource and request to meet with an Employment Specialist before submitting online:</b><BR>* <b>Step 1:</b> Apply online at: <b>www.trimet.org</b><BR>* <b>NOTE:</b> <i>You must leave the WorkSource website to view the company website.</i><BR>* It is up to the employers discretion to contact desired applicants<BR>* Employment Specialists are available from 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Monday through Friday at WorkSource Vancouver; 5411 E.
