May be required to distribute flexible scopes, biopsy instruments, traveling video carts, and other supplies and equipment used in the endoscopic care of patients. The Central Sterile Technician assists in the set-up, changeover, and stocking of procedure rooms and other duties as delegated. <BR><BR><BR>Job Qualifications: <BR><BR>High school diploma or equivalent.<BR>Completion of Central Service operations course or equivalent experience in Central Sterile preferred.<BR>Understanding of the principles and methods of sterilization.<BR>Understanding of the importance of infection control and good aseptic techniques.<BR>Understanding of the importance of documentation.<BR>Thorough knowledge of instruments and scopes.<BR>Excellent verbal communication skills and telephone etiquette.<BR>Central Service Certification preferred.<BR>Supports and models the Legacy Preferred Employee Profile. </font></td>
