The Director IS Security/Compliance is responsible for the directing and monitoring of infrastructure and information security activities. This position plans and administers all data security measures related to IT Policies/Framework, Enterprise Risk Management, Security Architecture, Internal Audit, Regulatory and Compliance, Privacy, Disaster Recovery, and Business Continuity efforts. In addition, this position will serve as the designated IT HIPAA security officer for PeaceHealth.<BR>* Develops and enforces security policies pertaining to the use of the health system computing and telecommunications network.<BR>* Ensure conformance to Enterprise Security Framework for people, process, and technology.<BR>* Responsible for ensuring HIPAA compliancy of applicable enterprise and departmental applications.<BR>* Directs security operational responsibility of the enterprise network infrastructure to ensure HIPAA compliance.<BR>* Establishes, documents, and distributes security incident response and escalation procedures to ensure timely and effective handling of all situations.<BR>* Conducts research on emerging security products, services, protocols, and standards in support of systems software procurement and development efforts.<BR>* Establishes all security measures in support of disaster recovery efforts.<BR>* Analyzes network traffic patterns, system logs, and audit files for compliance with security policies on all systems.<BR>* Responsible for coordination with Organizational Integrity (OI) and external agencies in conducting internal investigations pertaining to, but not limited to, patient and employee privacy and safety.<BR>* Monitor, distribute, and analyze security alerts and information.<BR>* Maintain Intrusion Detection/Prevention System.<BR>* Perform vulnerability testing and analysis on all network assets and applications/projects.<BR>* Analyze access control requests, making informed decisions about appropriate access.<BR>* Ability to identify, develop, and ensure maintenance of security reporting metrics to support key decision makers.<BR>* Perform routine network, server, data base, and end user security audits.<BR>* Recruit, develop, and train Security Administrator(s) and/or vendors for network, application, and database security.To learn more about PeaceHealth, please visit us onFacebookorLinkedIn!<BR>Qualifications:<BR>EDUCATION:Bachelor''s degree in Computer Science or Business Administration is required.
