 <td align="left">JOB DESCRIPTION: * Positions available in Northern Oregon and SW Washington * Provide security in multiple locations * Successful candidate will have good organizational skills, ability to maintain professional composure when dealing with unusual circumstances, ability to relate with a diverse group of individuals, and have a courteous/customer service focused demeanor * Observe and report activities and incidents at an assigned client site, providing for the security and safety of client property and personnel * Check for irregularities and to inspect protection devices and fire control equipment * Protect evidence or scene of incident in the event of accidents, emergencies, or security investigations; set up barriers and signage, and provide direction or information to others * Prepare logs or reports as required for site; write and/or type reports and/or enters information in a computer using standard grammar * Observe and report incidents or suspicious activity to client representatives, company management, lift/safety personnel or public safety authorities as appropriate for the circumstances * Respond to incidents of fire, medical emergency, bomb threat, flooding, water discharge, elevator emergency, hazardous materials, inclement weather, and other incidents or conditions following procedures established for the site, by the company, and/or through training or certification JOB REQUIREMENTS : * Must have a valid drivers license in order to operate vehicle to perform on site vehicle patrol * Must be a minimum of 18 years of age * High school diploma/GED * Ability to lift up to 20 pounds * Demonstrated customer service experience * DPSST certification-possess or able to obtain-employer will provide training if employment offer is made * Will be licensed in OR and WA * Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen, criminal background check and driving record check administered by employer PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: * Some positions require two year law enforcement or military experience OR a two year degree HOURS/DAYS/SCHEDULE: * Full time * 40 to 80 hours per week * Schedule can include graveyard, swing shift and days SALARY/WAGE/BENEFITS: * $9.04 to $11.00 per hour * Benefits available CLOSING DATE/DEADLINE: * Open until filled or at the direction of the employer HOW TO APPLY: * If you would like assistance with your online application please come to WorkSource and request to meet with an Employment Specialist before submitting online: * Step 1: Apply online at: www.securitas.com/us/en/career and print/save confirmation; NOTE: You must leave the WorkSource website to view the company website * Employment Specialists are available from 8:30am to 4:00pm Monday through Friday at WorkSource Vancouver; 5411 E.
