<td align="left"><font style="font-size: 100%;">The Network Implementation Engineer is responsible for the implementation of customer MPLS networks, customer specific CPE configurations utilizing multiple hardware platforms, design and configuration of any necessary network infrastructure, and tier 3 technical escalation point for the Activations team, CPE Logistics, and Data Provisioning.<BR><BR>A. Initial Network Design and Implementation for new sales<BR>- Design and implement customer specific CPE configurations utilizing multiple hardware platforms to be used by the Network Implementation department during Network rollout.<BR>- Design and build any necessary network infrastructure for implementation of new Multi-Site networks. Responsible for all Host installation support and testing.<BR> <BR>B. Pre-sales Design Support<BR>- Support Sales Engineering pre-sales to ensure reliable network design and implementation.<BR>- Take part in internal Change Order peer review with Sales Engineering prior to execution.<BR> <BR>C. Initial Custom Installation Support and MOP Development<BR>- Deployment into the field to support complex remote/Host implementations working under Professional Services.<BR>- Review MOP draft for customer installation support and suggest changes where necessary.<BR> <BR>D. Technical Project Management Assistance<BR>- Participate in internal/external technical requirements calls with Project Management, internal teams, and customer.<BR>- Act as real time technical support related to network events during proof of concept deployment.<BR> <BR>E. Network Change Order Management<BR>- Effectively manage/complete all Network Change requests Pre/Post Sent to Billing.<BR>- Lab test all network affecting change requests prior to execution<BR> <BR>F. Internal TNT/CPE/Layered Services Technical Escalations:<BR>- Tier 3 technical escalation point for TnT during installation attempts.<BR>- Create scripts for CPE Logistics when required for Product upgrades.<BR> <BR>G. Network-level Migrations<BR>- Directly responsible for all Host migrations.<BR>- Provide all network discovery documents related to Redback migration activity.<BR><BR>- AAS Degree in Computer Science or equivalent combination of education and experience.<BR>- Network and Systems certification such as CCNA, <BR>- Other additional Network, Voice, and Systems professional certifications are a plus.<BR>Experience:<BR>- Implementation experience of a large and complex network environment <BR>- Experience with Network Monitoring, management and troubleshooting with various tools including Solar Winds Orion, NPM, Netflow Traffic Analyzer, and circuit performance analyzer software like Visualware or IXIA.<BR>- System security related experience w/deep technical understanding in many technology platforms (servers, directory services architecture, firewalls, authentication schemas, communications protocols, appliances, security and diagnostic/forensic software, etc.)</font></td>
