Since 1975, we’ve been a growing company that designs and manufactures innovative products for the worldwide commercial and military helicopter industry. As the recognized leader in external load equipment, our equipment is chosen by helicopter users and OEMs throughout the world. Our headquarters are conveniently located in Vancouver, WA area with direct access to I-205 and I-5. Visit our web site at www.onboardsystems.com to learn more. <BR><BR>Competencies:<BR>The Test Technician will work with Test Engineers and Design Engineers to perform product testing for evaluation, risk reduction and qualification purposes. They will build simple test equipment, prepare, assemble, and dismantle test articles and fixtures. They will also support the Test Engineer with report writing. <BR><BR>Outstanding candidates for this position should:<BR>-Be familiar with MIL-STD-810 environmental testing procedures.<BR>-Have experience following written test plans and recording data.<BR>-Be familiar with environmental test equipment such as thermal chambers, salt fog chambers, thermocouples, voltmeters, power supplies, etc.<BR>-Be comfortable assembling mechanical parts using hand tools (nuts, bolts, pins, etc).<BR>-Have excellent communication and organizational skills.<BR><BR>Education:<BR>-Technical degree in a relevant engineering discipline.<BR><BR>Experience:<BR>-A minimum of 2 years’ experience testing products for a military customer.<BR>-Relevant experience in an aerospace or other engineered structure field.<BR><BR>Job requirements:<BR>-Must be a US Citizen.<BR>-Must be able to lift 50lbs.<BR>-Experience authoring technical documentation such as user manuals, test plans and reports, maintenance instructions, etc.<BR><BR>How to apply: <BR>To apply for this job, email a cover letter and resume to Jerry@onboardsystems.com, ATTN:
