Join our non-profit organization, where your heart and mind go to work!<BR>We are currently seeking a Community Chapter Executive to work in our Blue Mountain Chapter (Walla Walla, WA). This is a part time position working 20 hours per week.<BR>The Community Chapter Executive (CCE) develops and implements the delivery of American Red Cross services for the Walla Walla community area in accordance with the Chapter&rsquo;s strategic and business plans as well as the policies and procedures of the National American Red Cross. This position is responsible for oversight of resources and operations and the effective supervision of its paid and volunteer staff.<BR>Responsibilities:<BR>1. Develops and implements initiatives that support the successful day-to-day operation of the assigned chapter and/or region. <BR>2. Acts as point of contact for the public, community, media and staff to ensure service delivery and resolve issues/concerns. Represents the Chapter in the community, participating in community functions, developing and maintaining contact with the community leaders. Working with Financial Development and the Regional CEO, develops strategies and initiatives to find financial development opportunities and to promote and recognize funding opportunities for the chapter.<BR>3. Works to ensure that the assigned area follows all chapter and ARC procedures and policies.<BR>4. Develops, communicates and implements ARC program services, priorities, goals and objectives. Ensures American Red Cross programs and services are available to the diverse communities served.<BR>5. Assigns and coordinates staff members and volunteers on project assignments.<BR>6. Evaluates and reports effectiveness of program or service and prepares recommendations for continuous improvement.<BR>7. Develops and monitors budget for Chapter.<BR>8. Monitors program outcomes and results to reinforce organizational accountability.<BR>9. Responsible for supervising other full time and part time employees. May hire, train, coach, counsel and evaluate performance of direct reports and volunteers or give significant recommendations as to those supervisory actions.<BR>10. Actively participates in the delivery of all ARC services and programs.<BR>11. Ensures smooth flow of information (oral and written) between assigned area offices;<BR>12. Plans and oversees budget and expenses for the assigned area.<BR>13. Develops workable program or service implementation plans.<BR>14.
