<td align="left"><font style="font-size: 100%;"><b>JOB DESCRIPTION:</b><BR>Dayton area business seeks seasonal manager to hire, train, supervise, and schedule all food service and pub employees. Will order and receive food and beverage products and other supplies. Will coordinate and work with vendors. Will maintain strict inventory and labor control (including payroll records). Will prepare, cook, and present food and beverage items to the public. Will operate cash registers and maintain cash control. Will create menu items and set prices--based on knowledge of pricing formulas. Will maintain constant awareness of product quality; ensuring product is prepared and cooked properly.<BR><BR><b>SPECIFIC DUTIES:</b><BR><li>Hire, train, supervise, terminate, & schedule food service/Pub staff</li><BR><li>Schedule, order & receive supplies, coordinating with vendors</li><BR><li>Open Food Service/Pub on time each day</li><BR><li>Maintain strict inventory & labor control</li><BR><li>Organize storage, cooking, serving, & walk-in cooler areas</li><BR><li>Clean & properly maintain all equipment</li><BR><li>Prepare, cook & present food/beverage items, at correct temperatures</li><BR><li>Create food/entree specials & menu items</li><BR><li>Prepare special meals for groups, promotions, etc.</li><BR><li>Exercise appropriate cost and budget controls and maintain inventory records</li><BR><li>Maintain constant awareness of product quality</li><BR><li>Maintain payroll records & submit on a weekly basis</li><BR><li>Maintain laundry equipment and assist with supervising and directing cleaning duties</li><BR><li>Schedule/conduct monthly safety meetings and maintain current Material Safety Data Sheets</li><BR><li>Participate in weekly manager's meeting and others as assigned/directed</li><BR><li>Provide guest services training to Food Service and Pub employees</li><BR><li>Enthusiastically promote the business & maintain a professional appearance and dress code to the public & other employees</li><BR><li>Observe all company policies and procedures, including the Employee Handbook</li><BR><li>Perform other job-related duties as assigned</li><BR><li>Develop & maintain rapport between employees and guests</li><BR><li>Manage Food and Beverage offerings for special events, including staffing.</li><BR><BR><b>JOB REQUIREMENTS:</b><BR><li>Must be at least 21 years of age (due to handling of alcohol)</li><BR><li>Must possess a valid class MAST permit as well as WA. State Food Handlers Card </li><BR><li>Operate cash registers & maintain cash control. (Program cash registers & be familiar w/price look-up (PLU) operations)</li><BR><li>Know about pricing formulas to set prices for menu items</li><BR><li>Know how to present product to the public</li><BR><li>Be knowledgeable with menu planning</li><BR><li>Experience operating food preparation/storage equipment</li><BR><li>Must be able to lift 50 pounds</li><BR><li>Possess strong customer relations skills & ability to handle pressure</li><BR><li>Must be able to work efficiently</li><BR><li>Meet government health and safety standards</li><BR><BR><b>Must be able to pass criminal background check and drug screening.</b><BR><BR><b>HOURS / DAYS / SCHEDULE:</b><BR>Hours/Days may vary, depending on holidays and weather, but are typically 7:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Friday through Sunday. Some flexibility is necessary, including Christmas week holiday and holiday Mondays.<BR><BR><b>WAGE / SALARY / BENEFITS:</b><BR>Starting wage is $13.00 per hour depending on experience/qualifications. Employee/family ski and snowboarding privileges as detailed in the Employee Handbook.
